An Immersive Experience
Upon entering a ballroom full of flowers to the sound of string music, guests will leave the mundane everyday and escape to England as it was in the year 1812.
There will be opportunities for professional photos.
Tables of delicious snacks, traditional jellies, and punch.
Then, a bell will chime and the dancing will begin.
Our Dance Mistress will first explain and then continuously direct each set.
At the end of the night, the winners of our Costume Promenade
will be recognized and the cake will be cut.
You will return home with treasured memories to share with envious friends.

This event is for Bridgerton fans, Austenites, and anyone who has ever dreamed of attending a ball.
Guests should be over the age of five and ten.
Who Is This Event For?
English Country Dancing is the modern term for the line dancing you see in period costume dramas.
Don't feel pressured to become a proficient dancer. Our Dance Mistress will teach guests each dance and call instructions throughout each song. If you've spent any time watching costume dramas, you will recognize most of the dances.
What Is English Country Dancing?
To maintain the atmosphere, we highly recommend Regency attire. Otherwise, the dress code is semi-formal. There are options at varying price levels on Etsy, Amazon, and in thrift stores. If you're feeling stuck, we've curated a few options.
What Should I Wear?
Guests are welcome to park anywhere on the UNO campus for FREE.
We recommend parking in the lots adjacent to the Universtiy Center.
